Throughout his civilian life, John has remained deeply engaged in charitable and community efforts. He actively supports programs such as Toys for Tots and the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree initiative, and he has served as the Past Commandant of the Marine Corps League Detachment 1105 Owens/Kennemore. Antinea Martin
Secretary
Antinea serves as Secretary of Vets Helping Vets Greenville. A former corporate professional turned nonprofit advocate, she felt called to leave corporate America to serve veterans in a more meaningful way.
Through her work as an independent health insurance broker and nonprofit founder, Antinea identified critical gaps in healthcare navigation, housing stability, and transportation for veterans. In 2023, she merged her efforts with Vets Helping Vets Greenville, where she helps support operations and program development, including transportation initiatives that ensure veterans can access critical medical care.

Bethany Ansert
Treasurer
Bethany grew up in Reno, NV, but after joining the Army in 1998, has lived on both coasts and even Japan, before finally choosing to move closer to family in Greenville. Retiring from the US Army in 2025, Bethany has dedicated her post-service years to volunteering in the Greenville communities. Volunteering has always been a core value, and now, with the freedom to focus on giving back, Bethany is eager to help as many Veterans as possible by maintaining sound financial practices and supporting organizational growth for the benefit of the Veteran community. When not keeping the finances in line, you’ll probably find
